ConiPress was founded in Italy in 1957, as a manufacturer of sheet metal components for industrial application. ConiPress established itself in Europe as a leader in the appliance industry specialising in self balancing hinges for chest freezers.
In 1995 Conipress began manufacturing high end plastic moulded cold store door hinge and latch products through its ConiPlast division.
ConiPress NZ was established in 2021 to be a distributor to New Zealand, Australia, and the Pacific.
